DescriptionThe Professional Services Manager is responsible for management and direction of the San Francisco office’s legal secretaries. The position will manage either directly or through subordinate supervisors a staff of 80 employees. The Professional Services Manager will research, propose and implement programs to increase staff development and client services. Duties will include determination of staffing levels and workflow/workload, recruiting, hiring/terminating, preparing performance evaluations, training, and budgetary responsibility. Handling employee relations issues.

RequirementsRequirements include: College degree or demonstrated equivalent. Must have at least ten years management experience. Must have excellent computer skills and knowledge of secretarial practices and court rules. Ability to use discretion and independent judgment, work autonomously and as a team leader. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and customer service. This position reports to the Director of Administration.
